Put simply, MSD Fitness uses some unique training principles that deliver phenomenal, life-changing results for people of all ages and fitness levels. Everything we do can be modified for the individual’s needs and goals. We train in a friendly group environment where there is no judgment or discrimination and everyone is made to feel welcome and be a part of something amazing.
At MSD Fitness, we run small group workouts where you will always be under the guidance of an experienced coach. These workouts are made up of constantly varied, functional movements (like pushing, pulling, squatting, lifting, running and throwing) performed at high intensity relative to your own capabilities. Some people need to actually take it easier and we actually encourage our members to do that. The high intensity is based on YOUR ability and goals.
If you are a middle-aged busy working professional with kids and struggling with stress your intensity in the gym needs to be much lower than a young 20 something year old with minimal stress.
We all workout together in a group but YOU will be working at your own pace.
As time goes on, you feed off the other members in the gym to push a little harder than you normally would but just remember that you do what you can do.
Our program is not focused towards developing one specific type of fitness, rather we aim to improve your capacity in ten recognised fitness domains:
1) Cardio-respiratory endurance
We believe that this is the best way to become an “overall” ﬁtter and healthier human being.
The result from this type of training will have you looking amazing, feeling energetic and most importantly moving better than you ever have before in your life.
We want to teach you how to move properly not only in the gym, but in everyday life.

When you walk into our gym, you’ll see straight away that it doesn’t look like your “typical gym”.
We are a purpose-built ‘Functional Fitness’ facility. Allowing you to focus on a wide range of strength and conditioning training.
You’ll ﬁnd a heap of barbells, squat racks, weight plates, kettlebells, rowing machines, assault bikes, ski ergs, pull up bars, gymnastic rings, ropes, medicine balls and lots of open floor space.
At MSD Fitness, we have an awesome community of like-minded people who just want to get ﬁtter, healthier and get one step closer to achieving their goals. We do this as a group, as a family. At the end of each training session members give each other high 5s (not during COVID times), tell each other how well they did and just boost each other up.
For some people, the positive vibes and support they get at the gym can be so empowering that it allows them to keep pushing through their busy lives.
I have personally seen some of the strongest lifelong friendships form from people at the gym. When you start training with MSD, you become more than just a member at a gym, you become a part of our community and you’ll meet some amazing people and form some wonderful friendships along the way.
